Place of welcome
Sainte Ursule Shala
In Sanskrit, Shala means "house" and in the context of yoga it's a space where we practice together. I'm delighted to welcome you with simplicity to my renovated 17th-century home, where I practice daily and where I'm passionate about sharing yoga in small groups.
The Shala Saint Ursule overlooks the rooftops of the medieval town of Crest, with a view of the Vercors mountains. You can enjoy the coolness of the ancient stones of the house in summer and the warmth of the log fire in winter. A small hanging garden is available for you to relax and reflect.
The medieval streets of the town center are just a short walk away. The river, perfect for a stroll or a swim, is less than 10 minutes away on foot.
Healthy food
Vegetarian cooking
I've been a vegetarian for 10 years, and thanks to this choice of diet I've been able to develop my creativity in the kitchen. I take great pleasure in nourishing myself daily with healthy, joyful, and colorful cuisine, using raw organic ingredients that I source from local producers and markets. I discovered macrobiotic philosophy and cuisine with Pierre Baronian, and trained at the Prana vegetarian restaurant in Lyon. The food I prepare for yoga retreats is exclusively vegetarian and mostly macrobiotic. I'm happy to share recipes and my experience of vegetarian eating to support my practice and my physical and mental health.

Experience feedbacks
« During this 4-day retreat, Nathalie combined rigorous practice with conviviality. She found time for each of us, whether to guide us in our practice while adapting to each person's level, or to exchange ideas in all simplicity. Laughter, pleasant athmosphere, shared inspiration and complicity were the order of the day. To make matters worse, the town of Crest, and Nathalie's house in particular, are a charming and historic setting. Last but not least, I can't fail to mention Nathalie's cuisine, to fill you up with pleasure and vitality. And a special mention to “shasha”, the cat who loves yogis! ».

« A week has gone by since the retreat and the desire to go back or do this every day is still running through me :)) I'm so happy that this experience has given rise to such osmosis between us all. Your warm welcome, your presence and your listening skills, as well as your approach to yoga and life in general, all contributed to making these 4 days an enchanted interlude. Your home is also the image of your “interior”: conducive to moments of sharing, relaxation and connection with what's essential. A big thank you for all these “ingredients” that delighted our bodies and minds! ».

« 3 timeless days in a family cocoon to practice ashtanga and yin yoga, a nugget of gentleness and inspiration! The practices, Nathalie's adjustments and advice, the food - everything was perfect and in a relaxed atmosphere. Great encounters and happy memories ».

« I felt very welcome in Nathalie's home, where she opens her doors to us with great joy. You can see it in her food and her practice. A rich stay, in every way. Thank you, Nathalie! ».

« This yoga workshop was highly regenerating for me. I was able to deepen my Ashtanga practice thanks to the guidance of Nathalie, who is a marvellous companion to each person at their own stage of development. The setting is simply perfect: a beautiful, comfortable house in old Crest. The food was top-notch, and as someone who appreciates macrobiotic cuisine, I felt fulfilled. I left with a heart full of joy. Thank you Nathalie ».
