Who am I?
L’Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga is, for me, a journey between inhalation and exhalation that unfolds and unifies Body and Spirit in an unlimited space-time. This Sadhana brings me Joy, Peace, Light-and-Consciousness about life.
Yoga came into my life in the summer of 2011, just before my 44th birthday, in the form of Vinyasa Yoga overlooking the sea… Then, at the first Ashtanga Yoga festival in Aix-les-Bains, I discovered Ashtanga and the Mysore-style practice: it was a revelation! In September 2014, I joined The Mysore Yoga school in Lyon and became a dedicated practitioner under the precise and caring guidance of Pierre Baronian, following the teachings of Pattabhi Jois.
After several years of running, trail running, and fitness training, I have now dedicated myself to Ashtanga Yoga: I am learning to breathe, to focus, to turn inward, and to open up this space within myself. Since my first trip to Mysore in 2015, I have returned to India regularly to experience the practice at the heart of the culture where it originated, notably with Sharmila Desai in Morjim, Goa; and during my stays in Sydney, I practice under the guidance of Eileen Hall. These two inspiring, internationally renowned teachers were certified by Pattabhi Jois. I also practice with Lucas Carvalho, a Level 2 authorized teacher by Sharath Jois, during his regular visits to Europe.
Transmission is at the heart of my life: mother at 24 and 28, teacher since the age of 21, teacher trainer, researcher in language and education sciences, grandmother at 54 and yoga teacher!
Learning continues to open up my horizons every day...
Yet teaching yoga wasn’t part of my career path: I wanted to keep this precious sadhana to myself. Then the desire to pass on this formative experience became clear: I couldn’t keep this treasure to myself—I had to share it. I began teaching Ashtanga in 2017 at the Mysore School and at the Terre d’Ancrage association in Lyon. In 2019, I enrolled in the first training program led by Pierre Baronian and Annick Goueslain, which I completed in 2021 (over 500 hours). I then decided to scale back my work as a university researcher and instructor to deepen the spiritual dimension of my life—on the one hand through the practice and teaching of yoga, and on the other through the study of my own life story according to the anthroposophical teachings of Rudolf Steiner.
In 2021, I trained in biographical counseling with Cyr Boë (Atelier du Fontenay), and then in 2023, I studied diagnostic methods and therapeutic principles based on the work of Liane Collot d’Herbois with Sylvie Boë, an art therapist. Since 2023, I have been continuing my training with Viviane Olbregts, an anthroposophically oriented physician who is developing, within a French-speaking context, the Karmic Biography modules derived from the work of the Dutch scholar Coenraad van Houten, in the tradition of Rudolf Steiner’s lectures on the laws of karma, and based on Johann Wolfgang von Goethe’s process of phenomenological observation.
I am deeply grateful to have met and followed the teachings of inspiring individuals who are committed to a profound spiritual path. Today, I am developing unique programs that integrate with consistency these inspirations.
